INTRODUCTION

 

Longitude Capital Limited endeavours to fully comply with the data protection act of 2019 and other these laws and ensuring your Personal Information shared with us is safe.

 

This General Data Protection and Privacy Policy Provides information on the collection, use, and sharing (collectively referred to ‘processing’ or ‘process’) as of personal information by Longitude Capital Limited and its affiliates in connection with your use of our services and products such as mobile applications, Websites and social media pages that link to this Privacy Policy, your interactions with LOCAP online or offline activities in general.

This policy covers data collected, received, processed and stored on the LOCAP ’s owned physical and electronic databases and Cloud.

It applies to the following:

 

i. All Employees of Longitude Capital Limited and all LOCAP ’s associated parties such as Board Members, customers, agents, vendors, contractors and any other third party who handle and use LOCAP information (where LOCAP is the ‘Controller’ for the personal data being processed, be it in manual and automated forms or if others hold it on their systems on behalf of the LOCAP;

ii. All personal data processing LOCAP carries out for others (where LOCAP is the ‘Processor’ for the personal data being processed); and

iii. All formats, e.g., printed and digital information, text and images, documents and records, data, audio recordings, research publications and communication tools such as mobile applications, photos, videos, social and mainstream media.

 

 

2.     DEFINITION OF TERMS

 

The Definitions are as per the definitions in the Data Protection Act.

 

• Data controller: Entity determining purpose and means of personal data processing.
• Data processor: Entity processing personal data on behalf of data controller.
• Data subject: Identifiable person being the subject of personal data.
• Personal data: Information relating to an identifiable person.
• Personal data breach: Security breach leading to unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of personal data.
• Sensitive personal data: Information revealing race, health, beliefs, etc. of a person.
• Processing data: Operations on personal data including collection, storage, disclosure, etc.
• Third party: Any person or entity other than the user.

• Collected data is limited to purpose

viii.         In the event you have been identified as a next of kin or guarantor by a third party including our employees.

xii.           where you attend any of our events or events where the LOCAP is one of the sponsors

xiv.         to market our products and services or related products and services, and to tailor our marketing and sales activities to your or your entity’s interests.

 

xv.            to respond to or participate in a survey, marketing promotion, prize competition or special offers.
